Does Drag’n Wash support Steam Cloud?

Steam Cloud is included in the game’s official feature categories. It is a useful signal for players who use more than one computer, but it does not describe the game’s complete save system.

We have not verified the local save folder, manual save-slot behaviour, autosave triggers or which files are synchronised. In particular, a Steam Cloud badge does not independently prove that a save works between Windows, macOS and Linux.

What should you do before changing devices?

The following is general Steam guidance:

1. Use the game’s available save and exit options.
2. Leave Steam running long enough to finish synchronisation.
3. Check that Steam is not reporting an unresolved Cloud error.
4. On the other device, allow any download or sync to finish before launching.

Do not run two copies with different progress at the same time if you can avoid it. That makes it harder to determine which copy represents your latest playthrough.

What if Steam reports a conflict?

Read the local and cloud copy information carefully. Compare timestamps with the session you most recently played, but do not choose a copy automatically on the basis of this article.

If you are unsure which copy is correct, stop and investigate before allowing one to overwrite the other. Preserve an identifiable local backup where possible. This page does not provide a guessed save path or a command that deletes files.

Can you use Cloud to recover every lost save?

Do not treat synchronisation as a guaranteed versioned backup. An overwritten or unwanted state may also be synchronised. If the game provides manual slots, keeping more than one may help with ending replays, but that feature still needs verification here.
